As a game that requires reasoning and memory skills, chess has been widely used in scientific studies in different areas of human knowledge. This work proposes and implements a computational framework to investigate in practice research involving eye-tracking in chess problems with the main purpose of understanding and interpreting discriminant characteristics in eye movements according to chess players experience. Our preliminary experiments carried out so far have showed promising results.
